Sustainable economic growth is based on innovation, that is, the emergence of new products and services, as well as the continuous modernization of production processes. This is especially true in today’s extraordinary environment, where geopolitical unpredictability, the increasing fragmentation of the global economic system, and demographic headwinds are all present at the same time.
Recognizing the outstanding importance of innovation, the Innovation Coalition was established by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation (KIM), the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK), the Hungarian Innovation Association (MISZ), the National Bank of Hungary, and the Ministry for National Economy (NGM).
ABOUT THE TRADEMARK
As its first step, the Innovation Coalition created the Hungarian Innovator trademark, which in 2026 is offered for use to the company you represent. The purpose of the trademark is to organize the community of innovative Hungarian companies and to provide focused support for their development.
METHODOLOGY
The trademark is offered to companies that have already demonstrated their professional preparedness, market viability, and growth-oriented approach. The selection of companies is based on research conducted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), headquartered in the United States, with adjustments to Hungarian specificities carried out by the National Bank of Hungary. Companies awarded the trademark had to meet two criteria:
(1) their competitiveness must be based on innovation,
(2) which they have also been able to translate into economic success and significant revenue growth during the 2020s.

INNOVATION THAT CONNECTS
Innovation and market success are simultaneously present in the companies recognized with the trademark; therefore, we are convinced that this initiative is not merely an acknowledgment, but also a professional compass for the Hungarian corporate ecosystem.
